So, I realized that if I record acoustic guitar in the room my computer is in, I'll get a lot of unwanted noise from my noisy case, if I get something portable and record it elsewhere, it will be hard to keep it in sync with anything else I might be recording/programming. Could I filter the noise from my computer out digitally without sacrificing much quality? If not how could I record acoustic and possibly vocals in another room and still be able to sync it up with soft synths, drums and electric guitar?
I have e coli (see below)

why dont you use the poor man's method of covering the recording area with a heavy blanket. the whole computer desk, along with the computer, and anything else.... it helped me out a TONNE by doing this. no background noise, and less feedback on my electric guitars.
