This might be the best band in this vein of music I've heard in a while. It's like a blend between Circa Survive and Sunny Day Real Estate; they just have such a unique sound it's hard to describe them. Please check them out, you will NOT be dissapointed in the least.

Also, they put up a download to their second album (False Institutions) here and it's pretty darn amazing.

this stuff is awesome, even though i don't like circa survive or sunny day.

the songs are really nice, for lack of a better word. they're kind of like alcest in a way.

Listening to em again. The fact that they gave that EP away for free makes them even more awesome in my eyes.

And yeah...not like Circa or Sunny Day really, I'm a tard.

I'm so pissed that I missed them at the beginning of this tour. Hopefully I can catch them before the summer ends.

Holy crap, I opened for this band a week ago in Lawrence, KS thanks to a close friend hooking me up with the gig. I thought they were amazing, sounds a lot like The Appleseed Cast (their from Lawrence too) check them out if you like Prawn's sound too.

Their performance was ace, definitely inspiring to watch. Some awesome post-rock to grind your tastebuds on.

New album drops on June 14th. I'm stoked. Plus it's got a re-recording of Sammy from the tour tape.

Maybe we need a thread with a list of new albums this summer... There's so many good bands releasing in the next few months its hard to keep track.

I was thinking about my favorite releases this year, and there's already been like 10 full albums that I've actually loved, not to mention a few EPs and splits.

The album is streaming! It really sucks that I'm tired and about to fall asleep so I won't be able to listen to it all. I'll have to listen to it fully tomorrow.
