hey i was wondering if anyone had any experience with the dr caoted and colored strings. I plan on getting the red devils(11-50). Opinions?

Never tried the coated strings but I absolutely LOVE DR strings.

I tried them....The blue ones. they sound really good and last abit longer but the color starts to come off where you pick.

i tried them and they sounded like ass, but dr strings always sound liek ass with active pickups.
best sounding strings are dadderio or dunlop, ernie balls sound good but dont last half as long and break

I use DR tite-fit 11-50 on my schecter with active emg's and love them.

I use EB Hybrids on my Ibanez and like those until they wear a bit. Definitely don't last as long as the Dr's.
