So I see people on here all the time talking about having their pedals set at 10:00 or 12:00. What exactly does that mean? Do I look at the dial like a clock and adjust accordingly?? If so how would you get a 6 o'clock. That's all I wanted to know.

Yes, do look at it as a clock face. There isn't a 6:00 on pedals/amps, the furthest the pot can turn is at about 5:00

You'll find whisky very different, but try it and you'll grow into it, soon you and whisky are one, but still two, lovers dancing across a frozen lake under moonlight, wrapped in honey and warmth.

Well, take this tubescreamer for example.

The drive is at 2, the level is at 10, and the tone is at 4. It corresponds to a clock face, the knob being the hour hand.
