do you play an instrument or a genre?
what qualities make a metal guitar?
I tried playing some metal on my les paul...is that bad?
Should I be worried that the guitar police are coming to arrest me?

Carvin, for one. They make fantastic guitars. Caparison guitars are great if you can find them (and if you can afford them). Vigier also makes some great metal guitars, but like the Caparisons, it isn't easy to find or afford them. Washburn is definitely underrated for metal guitars. I'd love to have a Washburn WM526, but there are other instruments that I'd rather spend that kind of money on.

My foot up your ass is a good one.

Aww, man, I had one of those, but my old house burned down and the guitar went with it. Seriously, man, those were sweet back in the day. Man, What I would give to own another one.
Currently trying to find a band that can use me. ¿Y Tu?

I have two here you can have, I take paypal if your interested.

Seriously though, there aren't metal brands, any guitar can play any genre, humbuckers do metal better than singles imo though.

My thoughts exactly.

I've seen a guy from some Canadian (i think) deathcore band play a MIA Fender Midnight Wine Standard Telecaster, and it sounded pretty awesome.
Btw, it wasn't modded -- i asked it to one of the band members when they were leaving the stage.

When i think exclusively of metal guitars, the only things that pop to mind are B.C. Rich and Dean... And i wouldn't be caught dead using either brands' guitars. Ugly, poser guitars.

If caparisons are too expensive for you, a vigier made for metal is too. Seriously dude, take it to EG, people over there *might* help you actually. This isn't the forum for talking about guitar makes and models.

its all subjective. i like traditional style guitars. strats, lp's, teles, whatever. you can always play metal. its the amp and the playing that makes metal, not the guitar. i use a tele with a bucker in the bridge. why not just find something that you like instead of trying to give yourself less options by finding a "metal" guitar? unless u really want a 'metal' guitar
