I have been looking for a new guitar recently, and a family friend who has toured with whitesnake as a studio guitarist, said a more modern style guitar would suit me,
something by ibanez schecter, esp, or jackson(or simalar makes).
I have had a look around and have found a few, I dont care whether the bridge is fixed or a floyd.
I have found:

Ibanez MTM2
Jackson DK2M
Ibanez RG1451
LTD H-351FR

ask for more info, thanks

Any specific price range? Also, personally I prefer the RG or the Jackson, just because I've had good experiences with similar models.
I'm a musician/composer before I'm a guitar player.

What's your price range, I'd look out for a used Ibanez RG model, I've got one and its a dream.

Yeah definately go used, I got an Ibanez RG used for just under 400 quid, and its great, well, its great when it is set up properly. But play around and see what you like the best, I haven't had any experience with the others so I can't really comment on them.

Prestige S = DO IT.

Seriously check out the higher end second hand Ibby S guitars, they are incredible.

very modern guitars capable of old school tones.
