Okay so I'm ordering some 16 Ohm speakers (WGS Veteran 30 and ET65) to put in my 2x12 cab. I'm pretty much a total wiring noob so my questions are:

Should I run them in series or parallel? Why?

If I run them in series/parallel what Ohm setting should I have my amp on? (4, 8, or 16)

Does the way I wire them effect my tone at all?

Thanks for the input guys. ( I wasn't sure whether to put this in GG&A or not but w/e I guess)

parallel, if put the them in series they won't be as powerful. the setting should be 8 ohms for 2 16 ohm speakers

You're right, but you're wrong.
They should be in parallel, but putting them in series wouldnt make them less powerful. They need to be in parallel because they'll give an 8 ohm load, in series it would be 32 ohms, and no amp (that I've ever heard of) has a 32 ohm output impedance.

I dont get why you say series wouldnt be as powerful either, I though you could be referring to coils in a pickup, but even then series is more powerful.
