Hey guys,

Summer's here and with that comes lots of time for practice and learning. I'm just curious to know what some people regard as "must-know" songs - for the acoustic guitar player.

Crash Into Me by Dave Matthews Band

It's a fantastic song, isn't too hard to play once you get the pattern down, and women love that song.

I agree with that, but it's extremely difficult to play because you're basically playing slap bass on guitar.
Instead, do "No Such Thing" by John Mayer. Girls love it and it's not too hard, maybe even fun to play!
FUNK.

My acoustic orginals
My voice isn't that great...but take a listen. I still have yet to perfect my vocals

Hey Soul Sister by Train is easy to remember the lyrics and chords for. Strumming rhythm is quite simple. It's a fun tempo song too. Great for bonfires and camping trips if you're into that kind of stuff.
I have no sig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be Like That-3 Doors Down
Beauty In The Breakdown-The Scene Ascetic

Broken-Seether
Arms Wide Open-Creed

I am sure I know more, but these are the main ones that come to mind. The only one that gave me any trouble was Arms Wide Open, but if you are good at double picking, it will be easy for you. You could also try One Last Breath by Creed, but if I remember looking at the tab correctly, it is pretty much insane

Neon is not as hard as it looks.. I'm not an advanced player.. nor am i beginner id consider myself intermediate but not to JM's standards though..
it took me about 3 whole days to perfect with speed, coordination and not to mention the stretching. but once you get the rhythm its pretty simple.. practice it slow let it get embedded in your muscle memory then slowly speed up.. worked for me.. !
