I ask this because I've found this band called PBS6 who mix folk with hip-hop. These seem like two different genres, and wouldn't go well together, but this band seem to pull it off.

Here's a vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l7aFYznIBvI

Any other bands combine different genres well?

My band mixed Blues, Jazz, and Deathcore.
My new band mixes hip-hop, rockabilly, punk & ska.

I love mixing things up.

If you are, I'd be surprised. It's a very sloppy mixture of two genres with minimalist understanding of either.

why does the dude in white with the fitted move like he has cerebral palsy?

He is 'kyteman', a.k.a. the composer of it all. On a lot of songs he plays the trumpet, but not on this one. I'm ussually not a fan of hiphop or rap or anything, but this guy is a true genius.

Combining genres that dont go together usually just make horrid sounding music. Oh look at me i can combine different styles of music, i' am so awesome.

If you look at it with this ignorance (you're incorrect by the way, with this assumption), then any music that has a definitive genre is this:
"Oh look at me. I can play the same bullshit you heard from the last 25 bands in this genre. I am so awesome."

Know what you're talking about, and don't view things so ignorantly or you just end up making a fool out of yourself.
