I thought the film was decent enough, so I might have to pick this up for the extra footage.
Glance into my eyes
and see the darkest shadows dancing
Playing in the desert of my life
Burning, -
and my soul is descending...

I'm trying to get the blu ray. Haven't seen any of the movie yet.

a black metal documentary on blu-ray ?

what a waste of money.
Cette nuit j'ai rêvé que je mâchais ses yeux
Après avoir crevé par accès de furie
Ta replète panse d'helminthes blancs nourrie,
Trop prompte à déféquer le fruit d'un vit sanieux.

No I wouldn't. I'd just torrent it.

I just don't see how it's justifiable to pay a higher price for a documentary. The only reason I'd buy a blu-ray would be for the HD image and HD sound, and something I'd watch more than once.

edit : This is not about what kind of music the documentary is focusing on. If it was a collection of great black metal bands live, I'd fully support getting it in blu-ray as it is going to send money to the artists, as getting the HD sound would be worth it.

that's what I mean though. 10 extra dollars so that you can hear Varg rant in hd sound with his pearl hd teeth popping out ? No thanks.

Isn't this the movie with the guy from Twilght?

No, thats a completely different movie, called "Lords of Chaos", and it wasnt the Edward actor, it was some dude that has black long hair, but he pulled out due to scheduling conflicts. Phew.

I want this on VHS, regardless of the fact that the quality might be better than I want.

Might check this out sometime. Black metal is a genre I am yet to fully understand, because it's so diverse. And the history behind it intrigues me

I like a fair few BM bands, but that's exactly how I feel.

Torrenting now. I would of gone to see it and it came to Montreal but was un-aware. Actually I'm glad I didn't go and see it, I was reading a rant line in the local free newspaper here called Mirror and some guy ranted about two girls talking the entire movie about "How horrible Norway looks" and how they would "never sleep with Burzum"
