So, from my other thread I was linked to an Agile baritone guitar. Here:http://www.rondomusic.com/product3339.html

Now, at the bottom of the page, it says it $345. Yet, the first line in its specs says, "Deposit for September 2010 target ship date. Total price will be $689.95 plus shipping. Deposits will also get first priority on any customer cancelations of existing production orders. Ballance will be due when item is ready to ship."

So its really $700? That doesnt really make any sense. Why would it be almost twice as expensive as what they are advertising it for?

It won't be officially available until September. The $345 is down payment, ensuring that you get it as soon as they get them in stock, or as soon as they start shipping them out. The rest of the total is to be payed at that time.

It's like ensuring you'll get one, in case they sell out.

Well thats stupid. I mean, its good, but they should say in bigger print that its $690, not $345.

It is kind of expensive, but with Rondo, you usually get a lot more than you pay for. The cheapest baritone 7 string GC sells is $1000, and that's a sig model that doesn't have a FR. Nor does it look nearly as sexy.

EDIT: I was looking at your other thread, and I didn't see anywhere where you said that you specifically wanted a 7 string, though I may have missed it if you did.

Rondo sells other baritone guitars.
