I purchased a Koch Loadbox II ( http://www.koch-amps.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=24&Itemid=20 ) that arrived today, which is a power attenuator that I want to use to be able to use my Bugera 6262 combo at home without having to fiddle the volume knob between 0.8 and 0.9 and worrying about the huge amounts of volume you get when u get it up to about 1.5. The thing is though that it doesn't lower the volume nearly as much as I thought. When I connect it using the 1% jack for instance, the volume is still about 40-50% of what it is without using the loadbox. Is there something wrong with the load box I got, or is this just how they work?

For instance, with the 1% jack, I now have the volume on about 1.1-1.2 instead of 0.8-0.9. Seems like the load box should do more than that...
