Honestly spend five minutes in U-G's review section and you'll find far worse reviews.

Aba - Loney

Only you crazy yanks call it aba - lone!

Of course the rest of the world should copy you because you speak the Queens English so well.

Meanwhile - somewhere in Kenya, a village is missing its local idiot!.

Cheers

you call it abaloney all you want, i'll still laugh every time you say it.

you seem very bitter about the way we pronounce our shell inlays over here

anyway, so far all the reviews have been pretty damn hilarious

I think this must be an American thing, he pronounced Abalone totally correctly. You only find it funny because you've never been taught the correct way. Same goes for aluminum

Notice in the last link, they are ALL American English speakers and the last one who pronounced it without the "ey" sound at the end, is wrong, as indicated by the -1 to his submission.

The funny thing is for the most part American English seems more in line with dictionaries and has less bastardisations in common speech than throughout Britain. English may have started in England but it hardly sounds like the language today lol.
