Dont know if anybody has seen this but i thought it was pretty cool,

apparently flood water damged an upright support causing the bridge to do this,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEQrt_w7gN4

considering the age of the bridge it is pretty cool to think it withstood it,

though iirc it takes a hell of a lot to even start a bridge moving like this,

just wondered if anybody else knew of some cool footage of buildings going beyond what you would think is possible..

If this is slightly Davross of me tell me and i will close this down

EDIT: Original source was from BBC news but i couldnt get a vid from there here, hence the youtube vid.

True, but the others don't look as fake as this one.

I read this as Shaking Russian bride

As did I

Edit: it is possible for bridges to bend like that. Look at how far the Golden Gate (may have been the Bay Bridge) swayed back in whatever year it was 89 possibly. That bugger shook.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iw9R6YSlH6s&feature=related
also that.

That's nothing like the Russian one.

Just look 16 odd seconds in, the white metal/concrete part doesn't undulate, it grows and shrinks. The noises don't match up and the same one is recycled more than once. The metal side barriers on the outside of the road bend up and down in a way the iron/steel of those dimensions simply can't. The writing on the board is completely different, in both layout and size compared to the board it is on, to the close shot. At 37 seconds in you can see the whole film jolt.

It's fake.

Not to mention there's a bloke with some groceries walking along it at the start.

This can happen, although I am questioning the validity of TS's vid. The Tacoma Narrows Bridge is one that did sway way more than that and really did happen.
