First off, I'm gonna mention that I didn't quite know where to put this thread. Sorry if it's in the wrong forums. But anyways, some friends and I just started a band, and I'm our keyboard/synth player. Now at first this was fine, but suddenly it seems like we're gonna be playing mainly acoustic music... I feel sorta like the extra wheel. I've never messed with a synth before until last night (our first practice), and don't really know how to incorporate it into our music. Any help would be appreciated.

this could work, i.e. playing chords with guitar. also you could use a string orchestra sound and you might get some cool harmonies with that

You traded him a sword for the guitar? You do realize that a smart person would just agree to the trade, take the sword, slay you with it, keep all of the loot and call it a day, right?

....What are they teaching you kids in school these days?!
