im planning on doing a build over the summer and i want to do a V shape, but i can't decide which
i love the classic look of the rounder V but i also love the more metal look of the sharp V (B.C. Rich style) so i was wondering what your opinions are. if you have any other V suggestions, im all ears. or eyes haha thanks guys

Classic ftw. I hate the sharp ones.

Go for a classic V with a unique headstock!

And give it either an all natural oil finish, or go for a dyed figured top, leaving the sides of the top uncoloured giving you a natural binding - would look amazing!

Everyone does the metal pointy ones...

yeah that was my original plan, classic v with a flame maple top stained black with like an explorer headstock or something of the sort. what do you think of that?

I'd personally go for a Jackson King V shape. Not absurd and obnoxious looking, but still very aggressive.

Do a RRV, but with rounded points like the guitarist for Black Dahlia Murder's ESP

I don't need a signature to tell you I don't need a signature!

you could do a hybrid. you know how sharp v's the inside of the fins are curved but for a rounded one they're straight why not do a curved round or straight sharp

ok, i like the straight sharp v, and the rounded RRV, thoughts on those 2?
also, do you guys think i should go for a flame maple top with black stain, or a solid colour with an acrylic design?

what do you guys think of this idea:
i think im stuck on the rounded RRV, but i wanna do a rainbow stain, in circles (like a tie-dye shirt) on a flame maple top. quilted if i can get it. how does that sound?
