I think this is the place for me to ask this question, but please move it if it's not.

I've been looking at mixers with phantom power, as I have a condenser mic and a couple dynamic mics. I'm currently looking at the Behringer Eurorack UB1202 Mixer, which says it has 'Switchable +48V phantom power for condenser microphones'. But the question is, if I do switch it into the phantom power mode, can I still run my dynamic microphone through the mixer at the same time?

I really don't want to know the details, but I was just wondering if it would work. I plan to use this mixer for live purposes. Thanks in advance.

I think dynamic microphones are fine with phantom power. It's ribbon mics where you have a problem. That's what I've heard anyway, not first hand experience.

Ohh ok. I just don't want to drive up to the music store and find that it sounds screwed up together. Thanks.
