I'm a blues guy. I play slide a lot and love to keep it simple. Can't say I don't listen to other stuff though, like metal and hard rock. This song was meant to be screamed; I was listening to Slipknot when I wrote it. I love Corey Taylor; great songwriter. This was influenced by him (kinda) and I'm just in that place right now (rough breakup). I never have posted lyrics before, lemme know what you think of it.

How dare you smite me,
you don't know what it takes to be me,
you beat me to the fu*kin' ground,
and my guitar's the only thing,
that makes a sound.

Chorus

sometimes I wish you'd fu*king choke,
take these words right out of my throat,
sometimes I wish this was a joke,
you'll never know until I tell you so!

End Chorus

How dare you fight me,
You don't have what it takes to love me,
you kick me while I'm fu*kin' down,
and my thoughts are the only thing,
that makes a sound.

sometimes I wish you'd fu*king choke,
take these words right out of my throat,
sometimes I wish this was a joke,
you never know until I tell you so!
So put my neck between this rope,
got nothin' left, lost all my hope,
I'm gonna go out back and toke,
take in the air until I fu*kin' choke!

I guess its called "Choke" for now. I wanna write a last verse, then repeat the chorus one more time. I'd love your input; I've never posted lyrics here before for review, and this is a far cry from the bluesy stuff I usually write. Again, try to scream it when your reading it out loud, or in your head. The only thing that might be sung is the chorus.
