Kind of like the opposite of the guitar fail thread...cba to "searchbar" it.

In the mood for some videos of pure awesome guitar playing? Want to cum in your ear pussys?

Post a video of some jaw dropping performances!

I can't find it now :/ Suddenly have my doubts but I have seen a thread like this. Almost positive it was Fassa.

Anyway, the solo in this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbpQf22c494 makes me cream. It's just perfect. I cannot find a fault in it.

Also, the bassline in this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibOkGqUWGoY Is AMAAAZINGGGG. Love it.

Jeff Beck is a god, one of the more underrated guitarists of the time.
That video was annoying...why would they put dialouge over the solo?!

Moar:

Tin Pin Alley live (goes great with Red Dead Redemption)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9oymWJXp68&feature=related

Gary Moore solo:

I don't know. I got so pissed that I uploaded the recording myself, but I got all "COPYRIGHT, FOO'"'d at so I tok it down.

But aye, he kicks untold amounts of ass. As does Gary Moore. A guy from my school's dad knew him, but had no idea he was a guitarist.

"Hey, where you been? Not seen you in a while."
"Oh, I've been off touring."
"Oh yeah? Who with?"
"Thin Lizzy."
"wut"

I couldn't find the one I was looking for, but all of his solos are amazing and in this song in particular John really goes off.

I'll post more in a second.

Dude, it's a lot of noise. What's so fantastic about that?

It's not noise, it's ****ing amazing, it's fast, it's chaotic and raw and there's tons of soul and heart in it. You should be more open minded

They're not jaw dropping but I love them to ****ing hell.

The solo in emergency by Paramore and The Brighter Intro.

Meh.
They made me do push ups in drag

Local guy I know. He's been a judge on many online contests run by people such as John Petrucci and Herman Li, a finalist for Guitar Idol 2008, and has toured along bands such as Exodus and Kreator in the Hordes of Chaos. He also just recently played with his band for EMI and Universal excecutives in hopes of a record deal.

I mean seriously. he plays behind his back for half of the song and never misses a note!

Shawn Lane - One More Night - Great solo at 03.32 by Shawn Lane..

God I love Shawn Lane. What a shame he never got as much recognition as he should have. And the thing about it is you can tell just by his playing that he was still just happy playing guitar regardless of fame and money. RIP Shawn... ya tub 'o lard... you were the best.

Here's my contribution: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAv5ZuuSxSI SRV - Life Without You live. Gets especially good at 3:00.
We're only strays.

David Gilmour - High Hopes solo

I even bought a slide to learn that, but playing with a slide isn't half as easy as I thought

Dream Theater - Lines in the Sand solo

Kristofer Dahl - A Loner

Skip to around 2:20 if you're not feeling like listening to the whole song. This guy is a genius, seriously

Guthrie Govan playing Fives. Guitar-gasm every time.

John Petrucci. I picked part two because it starts at the solo. Equal parts feel/emotion and wankary/shred.

Steve Vai's K'm Pee Du Wee, played at G3, hehe.
