Hi guys!

Is it possible to play the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier 2010 on 50Watt in
living room volume level with acceptable sound?
I would play it through 2x12 Mesa Boogie Rectifier cab.

Thanks in advance

Cheers

okay

Because some guys told me it's not possible and the amp doesn't
sound anymore.

I know that the amp doesn't have the full tone on low volume, but
i want to know if he still sounds good.

You can.

Just that it would sound much better at louder volumes.

I play my Mark V through two 112s in my bedroom on the 90watt setting.

it's so cool to hate Gibson, even the federal Department of Justice hates them.

I love the Rectifier sound but i can't find a good alternative to it.

Maybe the new Rectifier with multi-watt is a good solution for me.

If you must have that tone, then nothing else but the real thing should be your goal.

However, if you are talking about getting to that level of heavy and chug, then maybe you can consider the Wampler Triple Wreck. For home practice, you won't splatter your ear drums all over the sofa.

I have a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier tremoverb with a 2x12 Mesa cab in my BEDROOM lol. It can work. Takes a good amount of tweaking to get it to sound good at low volumes but I succeeded at it. Still looks like overkill when you look at it though... :P

Custom guitars, vintage amps, boutique pedals. Blah, blah, blah.

What about the MESA BOOGIE ROADSTER 212 Combo?
Does it have the real Rectifier Sound?
