Getting either a Peugeot 206 or renault clio soon, depending on whether I decide to get something cheap and sensible (the clio) or something awesome and fast with a 2L engine and leather seats (the peugeot)

Also, there is a car thread...

I had a '69 Studebaker Daytona Lark. It was (and still is) in incredible shape!! Not to mention the nostalgia of it being passed through the family.

But, when I had to travel 3 hours away to SC for college, I needed a car that could make the trip without fear of breaking down and without spending my life savings on gas. So I had to replace it with a '07 Toyota Yarris, Now the Studebaker sits in the garage, waiting to be brought back out during the summer!

I have a Saturn hatchback from 1997. Not sure of the exact model name. Meh, it works, and that's all I care about.

This isn't my one, but it's exactly the same.

I was thinking of getting one of those, what's it like to drive? I don't want something slow and sluggish on the motorway

It pulls anyway rather nicely in first, and it's great when you get it to 5th gear and are doing about 70 on the motorway, doesn't shake like a metro at all.

Biggest shock for me was the height of the clutch bite point compared to my instructors car But driving around regularly in it sorted me out.

All in all, nice car.
