Hey UG, not many posts, but each time I've asked a question I've gotten answers so here goes nothing, i guess...

I've been playing guitar for about 2 years now, I play around 3-5 hours a day and absolutely love it. My guitar is an Ibanez RGT42DXFX, I leave it mostly in Standard Tuning, but recently I've wanting to play alot of songs that have low tuning, like D Standard, Drop C and so on. My question: Is it bad to tune your guitar in different ways without adjusting anything? I know it's a little hard to explain. but it's pretty the only I can explain it.

If you're going to switch tunings alot i wouldnt worry about it. However if your guitar is tuned to standard now and plan to leave it at D standard or something else lower, You should set it up for that.

You should be perfectly fine putting it in other tunings. Imo, there's not much to worry about.

Unless you have a tremolo, I wouldn't worry about it. I've been doing it on my Omen 6 for years and never had any problems
