I can usually get a tone nailed pretty good but im having some trouble getting his. I have a markbass little mark 2 head and either a Schecter Stiletto Elite or an Epiphone blackbird for the tuning im in ATM. thanks in advance,

use the schecter, use a plectrum, use fresh strings, eq to taste.

A bit more of it is in the EQ IMO. try boosting some high mids, keep the treble and low mids around noon, with the bass boosted a little.

Yeah man, he's tone is very mid-based, most of the treble comes from the fresh strings. Awesome tone he has!
