Hello all, I have searched everywhere to try to get an answer. Any help would be appreciated. I was wondering if the Krank rev jr pro can handle a stereo 8 ohm connection to (for eg.) a marshall mc212. I know it takes 8 or 16 ohm but the manual says it can do other configurations once min 8ohm is used. Sorry for the noob question.

Thanks.

i am going to assume that it wont work if the amp does mono 8, mono 16 or stereo 16. though the "other combinations" stated by krank i am confused about.

Huh?

If the cab runs at 8 ohms and the Rev Jr has an 8 ohm output, then it will work. There's no point of running the cab in stereo, the amp is not a stereo head.

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

the cab runs at 8 ohms only through stereo. it is 4 ohms mono.

you could rewire your cab for 16 ohms...

just run one speaker until then.....8ohm output to a single 8 ohm stereo input on the cabinet.

Thanks. i figured i would have to rewire.

the cab has only 2 inputs so one doubles as the 4ohm mono and the 8 ohm ..... if i do run one cable at 8 ohms would the cab not then be in mono(ie 4 ohm mode)??
