I'm wondering how to get optimal settings to use for the hard rock style of music my band plays. I have a Fender Hot Rod Deville 2x12 Combo and a Gibson Les Paul Studio. I want to get a great clean sound, but get optimal distortion with the use of my VOX Satchurator distortion pedal. I feel like the distortion right now is much too grainy and mediocre sounding. Any suggestions ??

whats the use of a ts-9 in this situation? not enough saturation to use on its own, and i dont think it would aid the satchurator much.
Paul Reed Smith CE22
Fender Spalted Maple HH Tele
Epiphone Les Paul Standard
Korg Pitchblack
Boss GE-8 Graphic EQ
Dunlop ZW Wah
