I have a Marshall DSL401 and I have to switch it on and off to make it work and when it does it sounds the best it has ever sounded.

Can anyone give me and idea on what's happening with it?

You mean on off on. Or just on off, because if its on off then yes it probably does sound the best it has done. Lawl.

Otherwise it sounds like a faulty switch.
