Okay so a while back my band and I invested in a PA, I don't really know any specifics off the top of my head other than the Power Amp is a QVC model of some sort (and I think its 900 watts?) For the past few jam sessions it has started to distort really badly after we have been jamming for a while (and a little red light flips on the Power amp). But now, it won't work at all. So we tried just powering one of the speakers through it which seemed to get rid of the distortion but the sound just seemed plastic-y and way trebley. I was reading stuff online and maybe it has to do with Clipping?

I guess my question is: Are we completely ****ed with this Power amp and have to buy a new one or is it fixable?

(Keep in mind I pretty much have no real experience with stuff like this)
