So, I was playing (I'd been playing around 1 hour at this point, and it was all very high gain stuff if thats important) and I switched my amp into standby, then off. A minute or two later (I thought'd I'd be much longer so I switched it off altogether instead of leaving it in standby) I came back on to play, and as soon as I switched it out of standby, it turned off and refused to turn on. ie. nothing working - no sound, no lights on the control panel etc... I checked the power cable and made sure it worked and was in correctly etc... I also had a look at the valves and I didn't notice any cracks or white powdery stuff, but those are the only ways of telling if a valve is gone I know... I'm not having a very good gear week!

TLDR my amp isn't working, ideas?

Sounds like a blown fuse maybe?

Depends on the kind of fuse the amp has, but a fuse is broken when the little piece of metal connecting the 2 ends is broken. Take the fuse out (usually next to where the power cable plugs into) and look for that.

Edit: Too slow! And you're welcome
