i just got an acoustic guitar and i'm looking to strengthen the fingerpicking aspect of my playing now... are there any exercises or songs you could recommend for a total newb? :P thank you!

Start Easy!!
These songs (at least the intros) are easy and allow you to practice changes and finger patterns, without getting too confusing. I've been playing for 15 years and these are still may fav warmups.
