okay so I've decided to pimp my old Yamaha guitar and i want to replace the trem, i don't want to change to a floating trem or anything silly like that, i just want a nicer trem that doesn't rust, are there any measurements i need to take into consideration? ty in advance

You should probably measure your nut width and the string spacing of your current bridge.

If you have Strat Type at the moment, consider a Tremking, possibly the greatest Trem out there. Have a read of the benefits on their site to see what I mean.
