I thought A Skylit Drive went down with the new singer (even though he's way better live)
And Johnny Craig was better for Dance Gavin Dance
And the dude he replaced in Emarosa was better for Emarosa.

If anyone says Alice in Chains I won't be happy
Cantrell mainly sings lead vocals now anyways, but Duvall is a great singer and i'm glad that AIC decided to continue, as Black Gives Way To Blue is epic.

For me it's Nightwish.

I prefer new Nightwish to be honest lol. The operatic stuff is kinda starting to get on my nerves. And i have every Nightwish album so im eligible to comment

Last 2 albums are awsome and waiting and waiting until next year for new one

I cant think of any bands that have gotten worse because of a new singer :/

I'm not quite sure how I feel about the whole Angela Gossow thing for Arch Enemy. Sometimes I like her versions better but other times I don't.

I hate Brian's screechy 'singing' style. Back In Black would've been a great song if Bon was singing it.

obligatory ACDC. bon scott was their ticket to good sound

also, kalmah (same singer) but different vocals sucks.

I agree with everyone whos saying AC DC. Brian Johnson managed to make every album rehash

A lot of people would argue that the Misfits lost their sound with the loss of Danzig.

I also dislike the way James Hetfield sings now, he used to be a lot bettter when he would actually scream, I would say it qualifies as a new singer. Still love Metallica though.

Also, yes to the Misfits thing.

I have to disagree with Saosin. Cove is a great singer and they have better songs nowadays.

For me it'd have to be when Taking Back Sunday had Matt Fazzi. Maybe now that John Nolan is back too. I can't see them being good in their 30s.

i don't think Saosin necessarily got worse once they got Cove, just different. I really really don't like In Search of Solid Ground though.

I asked a friend of mine, and he just blurted out Nightwish without even thinking.

I kinda agrees with him, but I think some of their new songs aren't that bad.
