I'm looking into getting one of these, anyone have an experience with a JCM 2000?

(I play mostly alternative, some rock, I currently have a blues jr, which just does not have enough gain)

I have that amp and it's awesome, wide range of tones. Only thing is my clean channel's breaking but that's probably just mine

I have the 100 watt head and I love it...it sounds like it would suit your genres quite nicely. I've found it's pretty versatile up to punk levels of gain (NFG, Rise Against) but anything past that it's too loose unboosted and too fizzy with my boost. But my boost is a bad monkey so a decent one might be a different matter, but I have a seperate amp for metal anyway

Don't know what speakers come in the combo, depending on what it is you might want to swap it out
