White Stripes - Catch Hell Blues

Think it's open tuning anyway, never got round to learning it. Must be open.

Another one I like is Train by 3 Doors Down

King's X - Legal Kill

a truly beautiful song. Also contains flute and cello. I can't give you a link, because the song is not on YouTube. and also:

Joe Satriani - Rubina's Blue Sky Happiness

I don't know for sure if it's an open tuning, but it sounds like it. At least, I still think you like it

and also check out the Tea Party. they have a whole lot of open-tuned songs, and with instruments from the East and stuff like that

Which is why you eat funions. All the deliciousness of fried onions without disgusting lukewarm onion snake.

Hope - By Rush (Alex Lifeson)
It's a beautiful acoustic guitar solo.

Almost everything by Devin Townsend, ever.

Devin. Townsend. Almost everything he's ever written or played is in Open C.

It's all about the abalone. You can't play metal without it. Mother of pearl? MOTO? GTFO!

Maybe get hold of a slide and look at lap steel players. I believe Ben Harper plays in DADDAD though skinny strings meant I tuned mine to CEGACE which wouldn't suit normal guitars. I found tuning to a sus chord was good for playing around with - I had to go for CGCCDC so I could keep the tension right.
Got it:
Pacifica 604w, Hohner G3T, PRS SE Soapbar I, Schecter Ultra I
Fender 'evil' Twin, Marshall 2554 combo

Jeff Beck - A Day In the Life in open G I want to say.

Why would you spend tens of thousands of dollars to learn about a language you already speak? It was over before it even started dude
