Why would you pay 44 dollars for Tom's shoes when you could buy a new pair for a few bucks more?

This.

What the hell are you thinking, TS?

If that wasn't a dead giveaway the names they have for the designs sure are.

"Pink Murray Organic Cotton Men's Vegan."

Or "Gabe Lacktman Sunset Fade."

can we please stop saying hipster lol

Hipsters...

Let's spend $40 on shoes that look like they are from a thrift store!

I had never heard of these so called "TOMS" shoes. I clicked on the page and just said out loud "goddamn hipsters."

No TS...

No, just no. I mean, you could wear them with your sweater vest and horn-rimmed glasses while you listen to some shitty band no one's ever heard of, but outside of that, they serve no purpose. If you really want to help someone in need just do some charity work or donate blood or something.

I know.

I like that they are giving a new pair of shoes to a needy child for every pair they sell. I just hope they aren't giving them their shoes. Not nearly practical enough for a needy child.

lol, vegan shoes. just in case they get hungry

(kidding, obviously I understand how shoes can be vegan)

Did anyone else see this fad coming? One kid at my school was wearing them last August, and just from the simple looks, you can see how something like this would catch on quick. Sure enough, now every other kid my age around here sports a pair. Native American wear seems to be catching on quite well.

I actually can't say that I've seen anyone wearing these shoes.

That's because Toms are so underground, you have to live in a cave to wear them
#26
I think they're pretty cool. I also think you dorks need to worry less about people thinking you're hipsters. I've never seen anyone wear them, though.

what's the point in being "philiosophical"?

I like the idea of giving away a pair of shoes, but I've never been crazy about their designs.

That's pretty cheap for a pair of shoes, go for it if you like them.

I personally don't, but then I do find something unnerving about men in cardigans
