I'm trying to decide between an Agile Harm 1 Hollow Body (http://www.rondomusic.com/harm1toastfg1.html) and one of Agile's many Les Pauls (http://www.rondomusic.com/al-3000csbplain.html), probably the AL-3000 or something like it.

I've always wanted a Rickenbacker 330, so the Harm 1 is alluring, but it seems like the LP will be a more reliable guitar with more options in the long run. Has anyone played either/both? The Harm 1 is slightly cheaper.

What kind of music do you want to play on this? I own an Agile 2000 and it is an extremely reliable guitar and it and a pretty good range of what it can play but i use mine for metal mostly

I've played both, the AL-3000 always seemed more solid to me but they are two very different guitars. It's kinda like asking if you should get a strat or a les paul. If the choice were up to me, between those 2 I'd get the AL-3000.
Custom guitars, vintage amps, boutique pedals. Blah, blah, blah.

A little bit of jazz, more blues and rock. Basically a whole lot of classic rock, but not insane squealy type stuff. No metal. A good deal of Beatles.

Edit: So to Custom Axe, is there a significant difference in quality? Am I getting a good guitar either way?

That Harm 1 looks beautiful. Honestly, I'd go with that if it were up to me. Semi-hollows sound so good. But it's preference.

I feel like the AL-3000 is a bit better quality wise, but all the Agiles that are $300+ are pretty decent.
