I'm trying to record with the line out on my Vypyr 120 head. I'm using a 1/8 and 1/4 cord. 1/8 for the vyper and 1/4 into my tascam us-122. Im getting a really bad static noise. It almost sounds like a bad cable but its constant and definitely not the cable. HELP!

Hey just an FYI, the problem was what I believe is called a "ground loop". When I unplugged the the the power supply the noise went away! Thanks all
