i have a peavey classic 30 and a 30 watt line 6. Recently, ive been getting a lot of intense tremolo effect from both of them when theyre on. Ive used all different combinations of cords, and ive tested my jackson and my strat. I know it's not a pedal. I thought it was the tubes in the peavey dying until i heard it from the line 6 too. This really sucks, anybody have any ideas?

Yeah it sounds like it's the outlet. That's probably not too good for your amps either..
Could also be the power cord, but I'm assuming you have a different one for each amp
might be your ears? seems like the only common denominator.
