this ten, twenty second ride
is the only place I find shelter
the only place I can hide
from my actions piled up helter-skelter

In this tranquil ride
the chaos fades,
to nestle in my mind's shades
to something which I can abide

But, before I relax, before my mind dwells
the doors arise to a faint hint of chaotic light
And my thoughts are shot back into me
their free open movement brought down like an escapee

As the light widens, it brings with it the putrid smells
if I could just turn away, if I just had the might
if I could be happy, if I just had the breath
I would leave this place and live to a cheerful death
