I've been after a new amp. Have been looking at the 65 Deluxe Reverb Reissues / Vox AC30s.

Well, I've come across a Fender Deluxe Reverb II from the 80s.

I can't find that much information on them and was wondering what the deal is with these amps. They were only built for a short time, but they are handwired and were designed by Paul Rivera. Were they unpopular/were there problems or something? In terms of value what would it be reasonable to pay for one of these? Are they sought after? Are they seen as better than the standard DRs?

Cheers,
D.
