Was in a guitar store for 5 min today and had a quick look at a Charvel SoCal 2H. Didn't have time to play it, but it gave me the impression of being a bit "rough-round-the-edges".

I found that the unfinished neck, uncovered fret-ends, un-bevelled pickguard, and big chunky volume knob gave it a feel unlike almost anything else I've looked at. Kind of like, no-nonsense.

How do you feel about this guitar? Or any of the similar models?

(I really need to go back and play it I guess!)
Ibanez AF105VB
Ibanez RG2550Z
MIM '92 Fender Strat
Peavey Triumph 60
MXR-108.
and that's it. done buying stuff. probably.

i quite like these guitars.
its a superstrat, but without taking it too far.
they're made it brutal, but in a relatively subtle way
