I have been looking at this kit on guitarpartsonline.com and I wonder if this could actually be a good guitar when put together. It is a Kramer 5150 kit. Here is the link http://www.guitarpartsonline.com/product_info.php?products_id=890 I would expect to change pickups on it. I would probably put something like a Dimarzio X2N in it and give it a candy apple red finish. However, I don't know how the hardware and wood are. Do you guys have any experience with this company? If not what you think of the quality of the kit?

Thanks in advance.

kramer, while i've had no experience with the company, i have heard are VERY good. and if you put it together properly i see no reason as to why it can't be a good guitar.

edit: without a model name or anything the pickup and tuners could be any quality... probably middle of the road stuff though.

It won't really be any better than the new Kramers that are being made. I'd just buy one of those if I were you.

That'll because they're made in the same place by the same people, ran by the same company.
