I'm looking for a 2x12 cabinet to fit with a head I dont have yet.

Anyway, I was wondering if there was anything more to the sound of a cabinet then the speakers?

These two both have 2 12" Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, but the price difference is huge. I know the Mesa is probably alot more durable, but will there be a sound difference?

On the come up we were listening to Grateful Dead and the music started passing through my bowel and out my arsehole as this violet stream of light. I shat music. It was beautiful.

yeah, cab dimensions and the quality of materials will make a pretty big difference to the sound quality.

which is not to say the mesa cab is worth it in europe, mesa stuff is ridiculously dear here.

i haven't tried either, so I can't really comment on the specific, just generalisations.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
