The past few days i've woken up with my left ear blocked, due to an excess of wax. I have no idea what this may have been caused by, although someone mentioned that it could have been because of loud noise, and my ear is protecting itself by producing more wax than usual. I tried cleaning it with ear bud cleaner sticks and it's pushed it further down my ear canal and blocked it completely, deafening me in one ear Is there anything that i can get to unblock my ear?

I have a 6 inch gauge in it, so I can cockdock so I'd say loose enough.
Not really.

Doctor. That happened to my dad. He pushed the wax back. They'll clear it out no problem

Go to the doctor, they'll either vacuum it out or give you something to dissolve it.

This is some new invention scientists just came up with. This is just the prototype as they're not sure how well they're going to work.

I had this problem on Thursday. You can buy ear drops from the pharmacy or do what I did and go to the doctors to have it syringed out. Hurts a bit though!
#7
Don't Q-tip, it'll compact the wax. There are things made specifically for ears you can buy, go to your local drug store.

Happened to me once. The doctor can spray some kind of liquid in your ear to break up the wax build up.
Forgive them Father, they know not what they do.

You can go to the doctors or legit use the end of a saftey pin. Not the sharp end but the end with the little loop. It works great if you are careful.

That's why we don't stick anything in our ears.

Not even Q-tips.

They don't work, sure they clean a bit out but they actually push wax further into the canal.

Try some olive oil drops and see if that loosens the wax a little, that'll help, also getting them syringed is a good idea but often a last resort.

Go to the doctor. You're in and out. They shoot water into your ear and all the junk comes out. After that EVERYTHING is loud.

I have the same problem. I just let warm water into my ears during my showers when there gets to be too much. After a couple of days, it's all fine and dandy. For your situation, go see the doctor to have them flush it out.
#18
There is a kit you can buy at your local Wal-Mart. 20-30 minutes ard your problem should be fixed. I don't know how much you messed with it. If you mess with it too much, you could develop an ear infection. That would suck.

it might fix itself soon. it used to happen to me all the time when i was younger...the doctor said it might have been cuz i tried to use soap to clean my ears. i stopped that and i haven't had that problem since!...

What everyone else is saying. Get your ears flushed. I had to get it done all the time when I was little since my ears put out too much wax naturally. Luckily it leveled out, but they just take care of the whole thing pretty quick. You'll probably even spend longer in the waiting room beforehand.
#23
I don't recommend getting a wax dissolver and doing it yourself at this point. You have too much that any wax around your ear will just cave in more and keep it plugged. Go to a doctor and have him/her vacuum it out.

...modes and scales are still useless.

Mystery: solved.

Anyway, go to the doctor. I used to get this a lot. Eventually they gave me a water syringe with a short rubber tube instead of a needle. A bit of warm water does wonders.

cant believe nobody said this

it sounds retarded, but it works. just a cap full, and till your head and dump it out.

if that doesn't work, THEN doctor hahaha

The key is to use Q-tips after you go to the doctor. Do it on a regular basis before the build up gets to bad. Right now you are too far gone.

On a side note it sounds weird but can anyone ever feel the ear wax fall out of their ear?

Except don't.

Q-tips weren't meant to clean inside your ear. They'll build up what little earwax you have until you come to the very same problem.
