Random question.

Will you only wear branded clothes? Or will you wear whatever you like the look of?

Poll coming.

Brands are for when you're 12, and for work.

Otherwise, I wear what I like the look of. I must admit that between two similar clothes I like the look of, I'll most likely buy the one with a brand though.

I wear what I like the look of, Mostly band T-shirts / skateboard t-shirts and cheap no-name jeans.
#8
I mostly wear band shirts or my brandless hemp clothes, the only item of clothing I have that is branded is my fancy suit and I don't wear that often.
#9
i wear whats there usually my clothes for the day consists of whatever was on top of the drawer

I wear stuff that I like. I hate it when people wear ugly-ass shirts with a tiny logo on it. Or freaks out because there's a little mark on their Levi's
#11
I've actually been moving away from my band shirts and ratty old jeans as of late, although I'll always keep a few old Metallica and GnR shirts with an old pair of worn and torn jeans. I wear more brand-name clothes now, but I just like the look, and the addition of some color other then black and white into my closet.

I believe in the quality of some products, so yeah. Like Levis and Wranglers for pants, Merell for boots, Nike for running shoes, etc.

This. Even worse is when people buy white shoes and then freak out if they get a little dirty. THEY'RE FUCKING SHOES!

I wear what I like the look of. It just happens to be that what I like the look of is sometimes of a popular brand. But I also wear what's cheap. And I also wear what's comfortable. I like the best of all worlds.

This. When I was a kid9same applies to my brother and sister), we mostly got cheap-ass stuff, because mum expected us to either ruin it or grow out of it in a short time. And mostly, she was right.

Parish jeans

...

nah they just look good, i wear w/e looks good, and if it has it's name branded on it like a billboard, i'll more then likely find it tool like, and gaudy, and stupid.

Anyone who only wears only branded clothes is a big silly goose.

My cupboard has band shirts, black jeans and unzipped black hoodies in it. I could go to the trouble of looking for something else I like the look of, but frankly smashing two rocks into each other for hours would feel more productive.

Lately I've been into really plain clothes. No logos, no designs, just one solid colour. I buy brand name jeans purely because they tend to look and wear better.

I use to wear stuff like band t shirts but now I'm getting a bit older I prefer to just wear plain black t shirts, so I have about 15 of the exact same shirt.

I don't care about brands at all, it's like with guitars, why pay 2x the value for a brand name (yeah, i am speaking of modern Gib$on)?
#22
I wear mostly brands, but that's only because I get great discounts (legit) from my ma who works in Myer.

There are really cool brands out there... I wear what I like but it's mostly somekind of underground brand item or band t-shirt or H&M shit. Alot of brands really tailor their pieces to perfection, which gives them an overal better fit for me at least. its quality. I recently bought a jacket for (only, depends on what you normally spend) 80 quid from a brand called Ontour. Best jacket I've ever owned for sure.
The corners of your mouth feel dry and rather itchy, don't they?

I have quite the expensive collection of silk shirts.

Would buying things from places like Topshop be considered branded clothing?

I usually just wear shitty jeans and a band t-shirt of some description.
I'm more inclined to buy an Atticus shirt over a no brand shirt, and when it comes to shoes it's CONVERSE! But I'll buy high heels of any brand.

I prefer to wear branded plain clothes if that makes sense.
Plain things look great and can be worn with a range of accessories, shoes, sunnies and what not. I'll often pay a fair bit for plain clothing as I like the look but the quality is what gets me everytime. The most expensive clothes on earth often only have the brand on the inside tag...

I dont really care if its a brand or not. But judging by my clothes, I mostly like "unbranded" clothes.
#35
The only three brands I really like, are lower-end levi's for jeans because they fit me well, champion's shorts because they fit me well, and if a band I like prints their shirts on an american apparel shirt I will buy it right away because they are seriously comfy

I used to get my clothes only at Anchor Blue but not because of the brand name. I got them there because they were the only store that was making clothes I like that I could actually get in my size. I'm 6'4ish and not a small guy by any means and I could find shirts I liked in 2XL and pants with a 38x32/34 dimension that I felt comfortable in. They ended up closing the only somewhat local store in the mall though and are now only available on the west coast with no online ordering.

Now, I get whatever looks comfortable from Target/Kohl's/JCPenney/Sears/etc. If I like how it looks and it's comfortable, I don't care whose name is sewn into it.

I wear brands, not exclusively, but generally with something from a brand the fit/quality is so much better, and you can avoid sweatshop made stuff with a lot of brands (i.e with Fred Perry stuff, made in England, Japan and Italy, which gives you plenty of opportunity to avoid the cheap and nasty stuff they churn out from China and Vietnam) I make a point to avoid non-brand copies of a brand though, 99.99% of the time they're shitty.
#38
I wear what I like the look of, sometimes that includes brands, sometimes it includes second hand 60s stuff off ebay. I'd never wear something that does nothing but advertise a brand, though.
#39
brands suck.
i don't see why i should pay for a piece of overpriced clothing to advertise their business.
#40
Whatever I like the look of that isn't too expensive, I suppose. I've got plenty of big brand clothes and plenty of clothes that aren't from big brands.
