Being Welsh, the Stereophonics were one of the first rock bands I got into. The first gig I went to was to see the Stereophonics in the Mellenium stadium, and this had a big impact on me as a person.

Another sad loss from the music industry.

RIP
Trust in me and fall aswell.

That's a real shame. The Stereophonics churned out some crap, but they had some real awesome songs as well, and I like the way Stuart stood up for himself and did what he felt was right.

I feel it is one step further towards Partridge domination!

Was never really a Stereophonics fan but he was brilliant as a presenter on Kerrang! Radio. In half a year the world has lost The Rev, Peter Steele, Ronnie James Dio, Dennis Hopper, Gary Coleman, Paul Gray and now Stuart Cable. Why are all the cool people dying? Why can't it be someone who actually deserves it? This just sucks.

RIP.

Why was he sacked?

Probably because he didn't want Kelly Jones to produce the 3rd album, and Kelly Jones is like the Welsh Axl.

But without the talent.

He's Welsh, he therefore has an innate talent for being in a male voice choir. And pronouncing those ridiculous place names with too few vowels.
