Hello Everybody.

I finally (just about) finished the Flanger 301 project from Tonepad.com, and have just one little problem.

The flanger flanges beautifully, but there is a background noise present, that I can't quite describe or get rid of. Here is a link to a 10-second mp3 of the noise I'm getting. The set-up is Guitar --> Flanger 301 --> Amp --> Computer. There's a bit of electronic interference in the background, but that's added in by my crappy sound card, so you can ignore that.

Can anyone help me in fixing this problem?

Thanks.

Also, I made a small parts substitution, I used TL062s instead of TL022s for the ICs.

It wasn't boxed up in that previous sample.
I just boxed it up now (sure did take a bit of time and planning, I might add), and it significantly reduced the noise to a bearable level. When there is no input, that background flanging is still there, but I've spent too much time on this box already. Perhaps I'll come back to it in a few months and re-examine all my connections, and replace some components.

But for now, I'd say its pretty good.

Thank you very much forsaknazrfael, for helping me isolate the major cause(s) of my problem.
