Insomnia and alcoholism started this song. I'm not thinking very straight so any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Drown it Away 1:24 AM 09/06/2010

lie awake,
with thoughts of my own
cant escape,
im all alone.

sleepless nights,
again and again.
close my eyes,
but nothing then.

There's no way, for this to stop.
i just need another drop
there's nothing you can do or say,
i just need to drown it away

Endless questions,
uncertanty.
what does the future,
hold for me.

all the past,
people left behind.
their images,
float through my mind

There's no way, for this to stop.
i just need another drop
there's nothing you can do or say,
i just need to drown it away

it doesnt end,
cant think clear.
thers no way,
to fight the fear

reaching out,
for something thats real.
no one relates,
to what i can feel

There's no way, for this to stop.
i just need another drop
there's nothing you can do or say,
i just need to drown it away

I can totally relate to this, my friend. I'm not really alcoholic but more than once did I drink the pain away and I have a medical condition which causes insomnia (don't know how it's called in english though). I like the song because it feels like you've put real emotion into it. It's also written in a way that other people with different problems, everyone has some, can relate to it.
