I'm curious what are the differences amongst the three pickups mentioned?

I know that the Custom has a ceramic magnet, the Custom Custom has an Alnico 2 and the Custom 5 has an Alnico 5. What I want to know is how do they differ tonally. What styles of music are they not good at? Can they all do heavier styles of music well? Are they more of a rhythm style of pickup or lead?
In order:
Custom: Brighter, sharper tone
C2: smoother, rounder tone, not unlike EVH's rewound PAF.
C5: PAF on steroids.

Ibanez RG3120 Prestige (Dimarzio Titans)

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
man eric melvin form nofx use's a custom custom i am liking his sound but thn again at the end of the day its mostly the amp seeing u already have a decent amp a pup swap can be justified
