in a strat with an 3 on/off/on switches, is there a way to have a series/parallel switch (or more if necessary) for all the combo positions (works with all the pickups)

- neck/middle
- middle/bridge
- bridge/neck
- all 3

Thanks

it sounds like you could have the switches set up a better way...

maybe this is what you meant, but I think I'd wire it like:

3 'main' switches:
neck on/off
middle on/off
bridge on/off

and then another switch that turns whatever combination you have selected from series to parallel

i just sketched together a little diagram that does this, but it uses 3 on/on spdt switches, and one 4pdt

we might need a little more detail on the scheme you want, if you want help wiring it up..
and next time, ask over in the wiring thread

thanks

i did mean 3 on/off/ons, which would allow phasing on the combo positions (though some might not sound so great )
