I am trying to find some songs that give me that crazy-awesome feeling that you all have felt at some point. When some kind of emotion of the song takes over and your body can't help but shiver in shear amazement of the song you're listening to. Help me out and put in your 2 cents about what songs apply to you here. Thanx!!

Anything by Porcupine Tree.
All of our days are numbered
I’ve taken some comfort
In knowing the wave has crested
Knowing I don’t have to be an exception

It might sound somewhat plain, but Selkies by BTBAM.
The way the solo builds into sweeps just fills me with energy.

...and I would post trains but i can't find a decent version on youtube.

PT is definitely amazing. Trains is probably one of the best songs ever written. I know it's my personal favorite.

Collapse The Light Into Earth is such an incredibly beautiful song. Sentimental is up there as well.

No.

Well, technically it could be done, but only in the same way that you could change a cat into a hamburger. It's an unpleasant process, and nobody is happy with the result.

Wow you're a unique UGer...
Backwards Marathon > Selkies

I'm totally kidding about bashing you, I've probably cried once or twice or every time I hear that song. The instrumental section of "In to the Hollow" by Queens of the Stone Age is a simple song that does it for me.

I'm a broken record when it comes to this band but:

I'd advise listening to the entire thing but the progression at 5:50 takes the cake. Its not the best part, but somehow its inherent simplicity and melancholy punctuate the cluster**** that led up to it.
